When Darshi Agarwalla's husband heard about the Waldorf Steiner method of education back in 2019, he knew that this is the learning environment he wanted for his children.

This was when Darshi was introduced the to world of free play and open-ended toys. It was love at first sight. She soon found herself researching, buying and learning about imaginative play and started reliving her childhood in a whole new way.

Come 2024, Darshi, born in a Gujarati business family, with a degree in management, a mother of four - 1 girl, 2 boys and a cat - wanted to now have yet another baby.

Always ready for an adventure, this time it was a conception of a toy company. A brand of her own.

Inspired by her children, love for nature, a keen eye for a well designed toy and a lot of experience in fashion spaces, she started designed and making toys for her children first to test the waters.

After almost a year of R&D with ups and downs - BELUGA BAY TOYS was born.
